<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative cap for a wheel nut as a single component easily attached/detached with respect to the wheel nut without using an exclusive tool. <P>SOLUTION: Slits 3 are formed in the axial direction of the wheel nut 1 at locations corresponding to corners 1a of a tool engaging part of the wheel nut 1 of the decorative cap 2 fitted to the tool engaging part of a hexagonal column shape of the wheel nut 1 that fastens a wheel to a wheel shaft to constitute six elastic pieces 2C, engaging claws engaging with the wheel nut 1 are respectively formed at distal ends of the respective elastic pieces 2C, and projections 2b abutting upon an engagement surface of the tool engaging part of the wheel nut 1 are formed on the inner surface of the respective elastic pieces 2C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
