<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid occurrence of congestion by suppressing a frequency of transmitting information for follow-up travel to an as-needed frequency when transmitting the information for follow-up travel by inter-vehicle communication. <P>SOLUTION: When newly acquiring information for prediction, a degree of deviation between a predicted arrival point at a present time obtained on the basis of information for prediction in the past which has been already transmitted and a present position included in the information for prediction newly acquired is obtained and it is determined whether the obtained degree of deviation is equal to or greater than a specified value.
