<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal surface coating material composition capable of providing a cured material layer which has superior adhesive property for metal and is excellent in scratch resistance and wear resistance, and to provide a resin molded article on which the cured material layer is laminated. <P>SOLUTION: The metal surface coating material composition includes: 15 to 30 mass% of urethane di(meth)acrylate (A) having a bisphenol skeleton; 25 to 45 mass% of a specified (meth)acrylate mixture (B); 25 to 45 mass% of a (meth)acrylate (C) having one or more (meth)acryloyl oxy group in a molecule; and 3 to 15 mass% of (co)polymer (D) obtained by (co)polymerizing vinyl type monomer or mixture thereof. The component (B) includes pentaerythritol tri(meth)acrylate (trimer), pentaerythritol tetra(meth)acrylate (tetramer) and a compound prepared according to Michael addition of hydroxide group of the trimer, to (meth)acryloyl group of the tetramer.
