<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support base for a column and a foundation base with a column that are lightweight and easy to carry. <P>SOLUTION: A base 21 is made of a cylindrical body having an upper opening 21a, and provided to be fixed to an installation surface. A cover body 22 is provided to the base 21 to cover the upper opening 21a, and has a cylindrical column fitting part 22c provided integrally with an upper surface to extend upward. The column 12 is inserted and fixed inside the column fitting part 22c, and extends upward. An equipment fitting member 13 is provided to an upper end of the column 12.
