<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound which can form a coating film removable without deteriorating coated objects, a coating composition, and a coating removal method to remove the coating film formed with the coating composition. <P>SOLUTION: A coating composition containing a resin is obtained through reaction between at least one of the compounds which are represented either as general formula(1) or as general formula(2); and a compound having a group reactive the compounds. The coating film which is obtained by applying the coating compound to an object to be coated on is decomposed by an oxidizing agent solution, and can be removed as decomposed substances of the coated object.
