<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor including a tread inclination detector for quickly detecting abnormality of a tread. <P>SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor includes a treat inclination detector comprising a sensor part 7, a reflection plate 6 and a controller, the sensor part 7 detects the presence/absence of abnormality of the tread by transmitting a medium to the reflection plate 6 of the tread passing through the vicinity of the riding floor of upper and lower floors and receiving the medium reflected from the reflection plate 6, and transmits response signals based on the detection result to the controller. The controller confirms the travel state of the tread 1 by the response signals transmitted from the sensor part 7, and controls the travel of the tread when abnormality appears in the response signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
