PURPOSE: A dipping protrusion and an ice making unit with the same are provided to improve the mechanical joint between an evaporation tube and the dipping protrusion as the dipping protrusion is harmless to humans. CONSTITUTION: An ice making unit comprises a cooling cycle unit, a water supply unit, an evaporation pipe(40), and an ice making cap(30). The cooling cylinder unit produce ice from a dipping protrusion(20) by circulating refrigerant. The water supply unit supplies water to a drain pan. Refrigerant circulates through the cooling cycle unit, and evaporation occurs. The ice making cap is integrally connected to the lower part of the evaporation pipe, and forms joining pieces(22). The dipping protrusion formed into a rod shape is placed at the lower part of the joining piece.
