摘要 PURPOSE: A localized surface plasmon resonance sensor of a gold nanorod and a method for fabricating the same are provided to early prevent cancer, infection, and neural diseases. CONSTITUTION: A localized surface plasmon resonance sensor of a gold nanorod comprises the gold nanorod and a self-assembled monolayer formed on the surface of the gold nanorod. The self-assembled monolayer is formed of an organic adsorber. The organic adsorber contains a thiol group at one end and a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group at the other end. The diameter of the gold nanorod is 12-16 nm. The organic adsorber contains HS(CH_2)_11(OCH_2CH_2)_6OCH_2COOH and HS(CH_2)_11(OCH_2CH_2)_3OH in a volume ratio of 1:5-15. A method for manufacturing the localized surface plasmon resonance sensor comprises: a step of preparing gold-seeds; a step of dipping the gold-seeds in a growth solution and preparing a gold nanorod solution; a step of dispersing the gold nanorod solution in a cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) solution and preparing the gold nanorod solution with a CTAB double layer; and a step of treating the surface of the gold nanorod with the organic adsorber.
