The method involves intercepting a request, and verifying the request to determine whether filter criteria specific to calls forwarded from a terminal (TB) e.g. mobile phone, to another terminal (TC) e.g. fixed phone, are checked for the request. The call forwarding is implemented or inhibited for the request for establishing communication according to the result of the verification. An identifier e.g. phone number, of the former terminal is obtained from the request, and a determination is made weather the filter criteria are defined in relation to the identifier of the former terminal. An independent claim is also included for a device for processing a request for establishing communication sent by a calling terminal to a terminal forwarding a call to another terminal.
