<p>The invention relates to a device for exchanging a removable container for an electric battery of an electric vehicle, capable of removing a used removable container (24) from an electric vehicle (19) and then of inserting an unused removable container (24) into same, characterised in that it includes a frame (1), a tray (16) capable of sequentially receiving removable containers (24), a means for moving the tray (16) in space, a means for locating the tray (16) relative to the electric vehicle and including a light source (34) emitting a light beam and a photoelectric target (18a) capable of receiving said light beam after same is reflected off a reflecting plate (26) supported by the container (24), and a computer capable of moving the tray (16) so as to position and retain said tray in a retracted position, a storage position, a recovery position and a position for inserting a removable container (24).</p> |
