<p>System (220) for observation and for acquisition of images in space, for observation satellite, comprising at least one picture-capture instrument (221) pointing towards an observed target which receives a luminous signal originating from said target and which delivers a view of said target in the form of an analogue signal, a converter (123) for converting said analogue signal into a digital signal, an onboard computer (224) which carries out a compression of the images contained in said digital signal, said system (220) being characterized in that it furthermore comprises means for detecting the spurious motions of said system in space, notably attitude drifts, means, implemented by said onboard computer (224), for computing a compensation of said spurious motions so as to achieve fine pointing of the picture-capture instrument (221) towards the target and actuation means (225) converting said compensation into a direct mechanical action on at least one movable mirror (222) located in the path of the luminous signal inside the picture- capture instrument (221) and reflecting said signal towards the focal plane (223) of said instrument (221).</p> |
