The extract is prepared using 70% or more ethanol. A composition for treating or preventing brain diseases contains the composition for enhancing cerebral blood flow. The pharmaceutical composition is used by direct administration to the oral cavity or rectum or by injection into vein, muscle, subcutis, or endometrium. The pharmaceutical composition is manufactured in the form of a elixir, an extract, a powder, granules, a tablet, a liniment, an ointment, or a lotion.
