PURPOSE: A video recording device for a vehicle using a solar cell is provided to secure reliability by stably recording a video about an unexpected accident. CONSTITUTION: A video recording device for a vehicle using a solar cell comprises an auxiliary battery(200), a power control unit(300), and an video recorder(400). The auxiliary battery charges voltage from a solar cell(100). The power control unit supplies an operating voltage(Vout) by using a first voltage(V1) from a vehicle main battery(50) and a second voltage(V2) from the auxiliary battery. The video recorder is provided with the operating voltage from the power control unit.
