This invention relates to the floating of a body of water, of a pipeline intended to serve as a fresh water duct. This invention outlines the method and the apparatus necessary to float the pipeline under the turbulent ocean waves or between two bodies of water. Hence, this method reduces the cost drastically, because the pipeline does not rest on the ocean floor and the water moves with less friction. The invention uses a series of helicoidally-shaped pipe, formed like the cross section of a kidney, wrapped around a large circular ring and uses innovative striations on the inner wall of the pipeline, which creates a natural vortex, thereby minimizing friction. This invention also relates to using cycloid spiral motion of the fresh water duct, to create energy for a hydropower system for installed twin oval turbines. The HUG (Helical Unique Generation) system is the nickname given to the Helical Pathway System of the Water Pipeline.
