The system has a bell-shaped gas measuring hood (3) movably arranged relative to a cylindrical piercing frame (2) and an enclosure. The gas measuring hood is placed on the frame and the enclosure in a gastight manner by an automatic transport apparatus. The frame and the enclosure enclose upper edges (9) of a weighable lysimeter container (8), which is filled with soil volume. The gas measuring hood defines measuring volume that is separated from a chamber including the lysimeter container by an upper edge (7) and an aperture of the hood in a gastight manner.
