Provided is a probe pin that can favorably maintain a state of contact by tracking the roughness and warping of finger electrodes or a busbar electrode. The probe pin (30) is configured from: a main pin body (31) that extends in the vertical direction; a pivoting coupling section (32) provided to the bottom end of the main pin body (31); and a cylindrical (or bar-shaped) pin tip section (33) coupled pivotably to the main pin body (31) with the pivoting coupling section (32) therebetween. The main pin body (31) incorporates an expansion/contraction mechanism (spring (31c)) that elastically biases the main pin body (31) in a manner so as to elongate in the axial direction. The pivoting coupling section (32) pivotably couples the pin tip section (33) to the main pin body (31) within a vertical plane containing at least a line in the direction of extension of the busbar (4) (line in the direction of parallel providing of finger electrodes).
