The device (3) has an accommodation element (5) for an article (4), and a notch device (7) guided into an opening (2) i.e. long hole (2a), in a body (1) i.e. body seat (1a), of a motor car. The notch device engages a material of the body. The notch device comprises a flexible barbed hook (8) and a rigid holding element (9), which is extended in a direction opposite to the barbed hook. The holding element has length greater than that of the hook in the extension direction. A flexible seal plate (11) is arranged between the notch device and the accommodation element. The accommodation element is formed as an elongated bar. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an article at a body of a motor car.
