<p>Provided in the present invention are a method and device for acquiring an identifier (ID) of a maintenance end point. The method comprises: when a head node of a tunnel is establishing a bidirectional label-switched path (LSP), transmitting to a destination node of the tunnel a message for acquiring a destination node-configured tunnel ID; the destination node returning, on the basis of the message received, to the head node a message carrying the local end-configured tunnel ID. In the present invention, the head node of the tunnel acquires the destination node-configured tunnel ID via the message returned to the head node by the destination node and carrying the destination node-configured tunnel ID, which is used for CV detection or for other OAM functions, thereby preventing the problem of interoperability among different domains when tunnel information is acquired by means of network management, thus allowing for simple implementation, and for broad range of applications.</p> |
