The objective of the present invention is to provide a system capable of estimating the position of an information communication terminal without addition of new hardware, prior registration of positional information of an access point, or modification of a network configuration, as well as to provide information communication terminals used for the system. The system includes a plurality of information communication terminals and a management server. An agent program is installed into the information communication terminals. The information communication terminals include: a connection assessment unit (30) for assessing whether or not there is a connection to a wired LAN; a terminal information transmission unit (31) which, if there is a connection to a wired LAN, transmits terminal identification information including an IP address to the management server in order to generate positional information; a communication mode modification unit (32) which receives a mode modification command and modifies a mode so as to allow functioning as a PAP; a carrier wave emission unit (33) for emitting, as a PAP, a carrier wave; a strength measurement unit (34) which, if there is no connection to a wired LAN, measures the strength of the carrier wave from the PAP; and a measurement result transmission unit (35) which transmits the measurement result to the management server in order to allow estimation of the positional information. |
