摘要 |

A method for synthesizing a medical grade biodegradable material, poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid), by biomass creatinine-catalyzed copolycondensation of lactic acid and glycolic acid. The present invention uses an in vivo arginine metabolic product, creatinine, as a catalyst, industrial grade lactic acid (LA, 85% aqueous solution) and glycolic acid (GA, 95%) as copolymerization monomers, and, through a solvent-free second-degree copolycondensation, acquires the high biosafety level, medical grade biodegradable poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid). The present invention is characterized in that: green technology is used, material costs are inexpensive, operation is simple and convenient, and industrial implementation is easy; the catalyst, creatinine, has high levels of biocompatibility and biosafety, and no cytotoxicity, the poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) synthesized is without any metal and other toxic residues; the molecular weight of the poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) synthesized is controlled within a range of between 1.8 and 17.7×104; and the poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) synthesized is suitable for use as implantable material for hard tissue repair, surgical sutures, and targeted and controlled-release medicament carrier.
|
