#CMT# #/CMT# The device i.e. windscreen wiper (10), has a locking element i.e. slider (18), arranged on a wiper arm (12), and a wiping leaf (14) arranged at the wiper arm by an attachment element. Air guiding elements i.e. spoilers (20, 26), press the wiping leaf at the wiper arm against a pane i.e. windscreen, of a vehicle during driving the vehicle and is arranged at the locking element, where length of the air guiding elements is smaller than length of the wiping leaf. The locking element is displaced from an assembly position to a functional position in a longitudinal direction of a wiper arm rod (16). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Wiping device i.e. windscreen wiper, for wiping a pane i.e. windscreen, of a vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The air guiding elements press the wiping leaf at the wiper arm against the pane of the vehicle during driving the vehicle, so that high lifting force caused by intense wind during driving the vehicle with high speed is compensated by the air guiding elements, thus enabling wiping of the windscreen in a better manner. The air guiding elements are integrally formed with the locking element, thus manufacturing the device in an inexpensive manner. The wiping leaf is arranged at the wiper arm by the attachment element, thus enabling an operator to mount the wiping leaf to the wiper arm in a simple manner, and hence ensuring high safety against false assembly of the device. The device does not generate noises during wiping operation when the vehicle is driven with low speed.
