The method involves repeating the high-resolution method for the separation of several reflection dots based on the optimization of a cost function. The computation of the cost function is separated into an independent portion and a dependant portion of the input data such that the independent portion of the input data is determined and memorized in advance at given supporting locations for parameters by reflection dots. An independent claim is included for radar system for vehicle.
