ANALYZING APPARATUS AND ANALYZING METHOD

PURPOSE: An analyzer and an analysis method by immunochromatography are provided to determine whether the coloring reaction of a specimen is affected by an interfering substance and to reflect the state of the sample and specimen. CONSTITUTION: An analyzer comprises: a photographing unit with a reaction region(R) and a background region(B) within a visual region(S); and an analyzing unit which detects a material to be tested according to the coloring reaction. An analysis method comprises: a step of acquiring image data related to the reaction region and the background region; a step of calculating the concentration of a predetermined material to be tested, based on the image data related to the reaction region; and a step of determining whether the state of the background region is within the tolerance band which is set by each kind of the material to be tested.
