LATCHING APPARATUS

Provided is a latching apparatus mounted to the inside of a case body, comprising the following: a stop tab configured so that continuous holes formed on the bottom surface of the case body are made to face through holes on the mounting panel, and a pair of claws formed on the insertion side of the case body link the through-holes and the continuous holes thereby affixing the case body to a mounting panel; a hook that is supported so that the shaft thereof can rotate around the stop tab; and a lever that is supported so as to be able to rotate around the shaft and the stop tab. When the lever is engaged, the stop tab is withdrawn in the withdraw direction and the claws engage with the edges of the through holes, and when the lever is in the upright position the stop tab advances in the insertion direction and linkage with the claws is released.
