A method of building construction which comprises the steps of : a) preparing a foundation (12) for a building (14) at a building site 10; b) providing an onsite mobile packaged production machine (16) at the building site (10); c) providing part data relating to a building design to the onsite mobile packaged production machine (16); d) supplying wood to the onsite mobile packaged production machine (16); e) the onsite mobile packaged production machine (16) providing building parts formed from the wood and based on the part data in the order of assembly; f) assembling the building parts on the foundation (12) to form the building (14), wherein at least external walls (25) including the said building parts include interior and exterior panels having a cavity (28) therebetween; and g) providing foam (30) insulation into the cavity (28) between the interior and exterior panels. A building (14) formed using the method of construction is also provided. Cutting apparatus (42) and a liquid-laden foam insulator for wall panels are also provided. |
