The method involves separating a frictional connection between a combustion engine (2) and a drive shaft (6) of dual clutch transmission (8). The drive shaft of is driven by an electric motor (12). The gear change is performed while drive shaft is driven by electric motor. The frictional connection is restored between combustion engine and drive shaft. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) control device for controlling shift of dual clutch transmission; and (2) control program for controlling shift of dual clutch transmission.
