<p>PURPOSE: A path change determining system using image identity capable of determining change of driving path and a method thereof are provided to determine change of driving path. CONSTITUTION: A path change determining system using image identity comprises a GSP module, an image recognizing module, a road map storage module, a road map receiving module, and a calculation module. The image recognizing module has a road lane recognition function. The road map storage module stores path change available sector information and road map information. The calculation module determines whether the path is changed or not based on the road lane recognition information and path change available sector information. The road map information stored in the road map storage module includes lane characteristic information.</p> |
