PURPOSE: A stirring device of a melting furnace is provided to prevent damage to an impeller due to molten metal by cooling the impeller with water vapor. CONSTITUTION: A stirring device of a melting furnace comprises an impeller which stirs molten metal supplied from the top of the melting furnace which accommodates the molten metal. A space(471) is formed inside the impeller, and a delivery pipe(490) supplies water vapor from the top to the bottom inside the impeller. Nozzles(491,492) are formed in the delivery pipe to spray the water vapor.
