The present invention provides a nonaqueous-electrolyte secondary battery that has the following: an electrolyte layer; and a positive electrode and negative electrode provided opposite each other with the electrolyte layer interposed therebetween. Said secondary battery is characterized in that: the positive electrode contains (a) a conductive polymer and (b) at least one polycarboxylic acid or metal salt thereof; and the negative electrode contains a base metal or a material into/from which ions of a base metal can be inserted and desorbed. The present invention also provides a positive-electrode sheet used in such a nonaqueous-electrolyte secondary battery.
