<p>[Problem] To provide a processing device wherein, at the time of welding or cutting a material to be processed, the travel speed or the rotation speed can be adjusted minutely with a small rate of change within a speed range that suits the intended processing, and the travel speed can be adjusted with a large rate of change in other ranges. [Solution] This processing device (A) in which a material to be processed and a torch (B) for welding or cutting the material to be processed are moved relative to one another comprises: a drive device (26a) that relatively moves the material to be processed and the processing device; an operating unit (6) with which an operator operates the speed of the drive device; a storage unit (25c) that stores information in which different rates of change in speed have been set for operation amounts of the operating unit (6) within each of a plurality of regions defined by dividing the index range of the operating unit; and a control device (25) that adjusts the speed of the drive device by associating the operation amount of the operating unit within the respective regions with the respective rates of change in speed stored in the storage unit.</p> |
