The invention relates to a process for obtaining confocal images of the histological stain X-gal, which can be combined with other fluorophores used in immunofluorescence, thus allowing multiple directions and localization of the x-gal precipitate at the cellular level. The invention additionally relates to a corrective method that enabled the x-gal precipitate and other opaque precipitates to be viewed by means of confocal microscopy.
