The present invention relates to a secondary battery in which a structure of an electrode tab and a lead is improved so as to reduce contact resistance. According to the present invention, the secondary battery with improved contact resistance comprises: an electrode assembly formed by alternately stacking a positive electrode plate having a positive electrode tab, a negative electrode plate having a negative electrode tab, and a separation film; a battery case for accommodating the electrode assembly; and a negative electrode lead electrically connected to the negative electrode tab, wherein the battery case is sealed while accommodating the electrode assembly, and the negative electrode lead and the positive electrode tab are exposed outwardly from the battery case.
