The unit has multiple color adders e.g. long-pass adders (A1-L, A4-L), utilized to superimpose multiple light beams to a common beam in a common optical axis. The light beams are provided with different optical axes and have different cutoff wavelengths (GW1-GW5) of visible spectrums. Multiple spectral bands (S1-S6) are selected such that two of wavelengths energize a blue receptor of human eye. The spectral bands represented in the common optical axis are increased. The color adders are coupled such that the spectral bands are guided in the common optical axis. An independent claim is also included for a stereo image display.
