A non-phase pure sodium niobate salt having different number of inner perovskite layers and/or phase-pure sodium niobate salt having different perovskite layers between intermediate layer, are used as raw material, to prepare molten salt having layered structure, as intermediate. The layered structure in the molten salt has number of perovskite layers. The prepared molten salt is subjected to topochemical microcrystal conversion process, to obtain sodium niobate target, by two-stage molten salt synthesis.
