The shaft sealing arrangement has a sealing carrier (1) provided with a sealing section. The sealing section is formed for cooperating with a sealing section (65) of a shaft (64) in sealing manner. Another sealing carrier (2) is provided with another sealing section. The later sealing section cooperates with a sealing section of a container (5) in a sealing manner. The former sealing carrier passes through a passage opening of the later sealing carrier and is movable relative to the later sealing carrier in a translatory manner. An independent claim is included for an agitator and container arrangement with a cover element.
