The invention relates to a contact element (10) for mechanically, thermally and electrically contacting at least one energy store (12). In order to save on components and thus allow for a cost-effective contacting of the energy store (12), the contact element (10) delimits at least one receiving chamber (20) for accommodating the at least one energy store (12) at least in part. The contact element (10) is configured for a force-fitting, form-fitting and/or material-fitting connection to at least a sub-section of the energy store (12), wherein the contact element (10) is at least in part electrically conductive, and wherein the contact element (10) is at least in part thermally conductive.
