Coated sealing product comprises an elastomeric base body, which is at least partially provided with a coating, where the base body in uncoated state exhibits a surface energy of less than 50 mN/m, and the coating exhibits a surface energy of greater than 50 mN/m. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a device comprising a unit to be sealed, the above sealing product, and a lubricant, which is in contact with the sealing product; and (2) producing the sealing product, comprising (a) providing the elastomeric body having the surface energy of less than 50 mN/m, and (b) coating the base body by plasma polymerization.
