Composition (I) comprises (a) 0.001-40 wt.% of Cyperus esculentustuber extract; (b) 0.1-10 wt.% of at least one quaternary ammonium compound e.g. an esterquat, at least one nitrogen containing compound (III), a quaternary imidazoline compound (IV), poly(methacryloyloxyethyltrimethylammonium compound), polyquaternium-24 and polyquaternium-67; and (c) 0.1-10 wt.% of at least one amino functional silicone. Composition (I) comprises (a) 0.001-40 wt.% of Cyperus esculentustuber extract; (b) 0.1-10 wt.% of at least one quaternary ammonium compound comprising an esterquat, at least one nitrogen containing compound of formula ((CH 3-(CH 2) n-C(=O)-O-(CH(R)-CH 2-O) a-CH 2-CH 2-N +>(CH 3) 2-CH 2-CH 2-(O-CH 2-CH(R1a)) b-O-C(=O)-(CH 2) m-CH 3) (X ->)) (II), (CH 3-(CH 2) x-C(=O)-NH-(CH 2) 3-N(CH 3) 2) (III), a quaternary imidazoline compound of formula (IV), poly(methacryloyloxyethyltrimethylammonium compound), polyquaternium-24, polyquaternium-67, polyquaternium-72, cationized honey, polymeric dimethyldiallylammonium salt and its copolymer with ester and amide of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, copolymers of vinylpyrrolidone with quaternized derivatives of dialkylaminoalkyl acrylate and dialkylaminoalkyl methacrylate, vinylpyrrolidone-vinylimidazolium methochloride copolymer, quaternized polyvinyl alcohol, polyquaternium-2, polyquaternium-7, polyquaternium-16, polyquaternium-17, polyquaternium-18, polyquaternium-27, polyquaternium-69, polyquaternium-74, polymeric alkyloligoglucoside compound of formula (V), oligomeric alkyloligoglucoside compound of formula (VI) and/or polyquaternium-71; and (c) 0.1-10 wt.% of at least one amino functional silicone. In formulae (II) and (III): R, R1a : H or CH 3(preferred), where R and R1a in (II) are same such that the (II) and (III) can be polyethylene glycol or polypropylene glycol diesterquats; X ->an anion, which is Cl, Br or I, toluenesulfonate or methosulfate (preferred); n, m : 5-40, preferably 20, where the sum of n and m is >= 38; a, b : 1-10, preferably 1-5, where b is a+b to a-2; and x : 18-24. In formula (IV): R : linear or branched optionally saturated 8-30C-hydrocarbyl; and A ->an anion. In formulae (V) and (VI): R, R 1>, R 2>linear or branched 6-30C-alkyl or linear or branched 6-30C-alkenyl; and A ->an anion. An independent claim is included for treating keratin fibers comprising applying (I) to the keratinous fibers, and rinsing (I) after few seconds up to 45 minutes. [Image].
