The meter (1) has a housing (2) that is partitioned with a partition wall into drying/outer chamber and flow chamber which are sealed. An inlet and outlet are attached at flow chamber. A drive wheel (4) is rotatable stored in flow chamber along the rotational axis (3). A permanent magnet (6) is rotatably connected to the drive wheel in flow chamber, so that the magnetic field generated by rotation of drive wheel in flow chamber, acts on the reed switches (7,8) in drying/outer chamber. The reed switches is electrically connected to the electrical measuring circuit.
