The tooth (1) has a tooth neck (3) extending radially at a carrier segment (2). A coil wire is wound at the tooth neck. The tooth neck exhibits an approximately rounded cross-section in a region of narrow sides (3b). The tooth neck in the region of the narrow sides is formed in the form of a stair and/or a step such that the tooth is formed as a laminated disk pack with lamellas stacked on top of each other. The lamellas in the region of the tooth neck that is adjacent to a front side of the laminated disk pack exhibit a small width than in a central region of the disk pack.
