The invention relates to a method for the ordered deposition of layers of metamaterials from colloidal solutions of microspheres or nanospheres, said method comprising the following steps: a) defined zones of the substrate (3) are metallised, and said colloidal solution is prepared; b) a pump (4) containing the colloidal solution is arranged inside a closed chamber (7) with a nitrogen atmosphere, said pump being connected to an injection needle (1) and said injection needle (1), in turn, being connected to an electrode (5), while the other electrode (6) is connected to the metallised zones of the surface of the substrate (3); and c) the colloidal solution is supplied by the pump (4) to the injection needle (1), and a voltage is applied between said colloidal solution and the substrate (3), depositing the layers in a three-dimensional arrangement onto the metallised zones of the substrate (3).
