<p>There is disclosed a method and device for updating data on a wireless device, wherein, when a new data version is obtained: diff-files, which are each useful for making a transition from one older version of the data, among a number of older versions, to the latest version, with a single diff-file, are obtained, and, when a WD having an older version requests to update its data, a diff-file, which is sufficient for carrying out the transition from the requesting WDs version to the latest version, is sent to the requesting WD.</p> |
