Disclosed is magnetic resonance measuring equipment that detects a nuclear magnetic resonance signal with higher sensitivity and higher resolution thanin the past. The nuclear magnetic resonance signal is modulated by applying vibration (sound waves) of a known frequency higher than the frequency of the nuclear magnetic resonance signal to the body that is the subject of examination. By detecting lock-in of the signal obtained, it is made possible to detect the nuclear magnetic resonance signal with high precision. In addition, by local irradiation with ultrasound, modulation can be confined to a selected local region of the nuclear magnetic resonance signal originating from the irradiated region, and the nuclear magnetic resonance signal can thus be detected with high resolution. |
