The device has a piston and a connecting rod that transfers force between the piston and a corresponding element e.g. bar element. The connecting rod and the piston are motion rigidly and integrally connected with one another. The piston comprises a portion with a curved bearing face, and a cap-shaped recess and/or projection at an opposite end of the connecting rod. The bearing face abuts rotating movement at an inner surface of a guide cylinder. The cap-shaped recess directly borders on the bearing face.
