PURPOSE: A terminal positioning system and a method thereof, positioning apparatus and a driving method thereof, cloud computing service apparatus and a driving method thereof, access points and a driving method thereof, and a terminal are provided to improve positioning accuracy by providing a positioning result using access points which perform WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) communication when a positioning service is provided by a terminal. CONSTITUTION: Each of one or more access points(110) sets mode to receive a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) signal provided from a terminal. Each of the access points generates and outputs WLAN information by using the received WLAN signal. Positioning apparatus(130) completes preparation for positioning by processing positioning related information provided when the terminal requests positioning. The positioning apparatus generates a positioning result based on the WLAN information which is provided from each of the access points.
