PURPOSE: A salt is provided to improve the solubility of organic solvents while maintaining the color performance of a xanthene dye which can form a cation. CONSTITUTION: A salt comprises at least one anion selected from anions respectively represented by chemical formula 1, 2, 3, and 4, and a cation which has a xanthenes structure. In chemical formulas, each of the X1 and X2 is fluorine or a C1-4 fluorinated alkyl group, or forms a C2-4 fluorinated alkanediyl group by combining to each other, each of X3-X5 is fluorine or a C1-4 fluoride alkyl group, Y1 is a C1-4 fluorinated alkanediyl group, and Y2 is a C1-4 fluorinated alkyl group.
