[Class 132 (ii).] Relates to a press for tennis, badminton, &c. rackets, of the type comprising two similar press members in the form of frames which are interconnected by suitable clamping means such as screws, bolts or nuts, and consists in forming the press members as trapezoidal frames and providing one or both of these frames with a carrying handle 12, Fig. 1, connected at one end 13 to the shorter parallel side 25 of the frame and connected at the other end to one of the inclined sides 27. In a modification, where one handle only is provided, each end of the handle is divided into two portions, and a portion is attached to each frame. One of the clamping screws 9 may be pivoted so as to turn down. In a further modification, Fig. 7, the press is secured within a case 20 closed by an end cover 21, and the clamping screws 23 are operable from the exterior.
