PURPOSE: A method for stopping the automatic cleaning of a steam convection oven is provided to prevent the damage to a washing pump caused by overload as the cleaning stops when a water supply is cut off. CONSTITUTION: A method for stopping automatically cleaning a steam convection oven comprises following steps. A control unit receives an input signal of an automatic cleaning button in an operation unit(12a). The control unit completely discharges water in a surge tank(21) by opening a drain valve for predetermined time. The control unit supplies the water to the surge tank by opening a supply valve(V2) and closing the drain valve. The control unit determines whether or not the water level of the surge tank is full through a serge tank level sensor(22). If the water level of the surge tank reaches the full level, the steam convection oven is continuously cleaned.
