PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing safety boots is provided to reduce fraction defective and to improve productivity by manufacturing the safety boots with using an injection press molding method instead of an expensive mold. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing safety boots is as follows. Composition is composed of 25.0% of PVC-3(Polyvinyl Chloride), 19.5% of 2500 polyvinyl acetate, 12.5% of octyl phthalate, 2.5% of adipic acid, 2.5% of anti-freezing solution, 2.5% of epoxy bean oil, 7.5% of P83, 15.5% of calcium carbonate, 1.5% of stabilizer(aliphatic character), 3.5% of stabilizer(granule and particle), 2.0% of carbon black, 3.0% of antistatic agent, 1.0% of chrome yellow(neutral), and 1.5% of chrome yellow(thick). The composition is mixed in a mixer and is injection-molded in a mold of 120°C-180°C. In a primary injection-molding process, the powder-type PVC mixture is on standby in a high-temperature injector, a toe cap is fitted in the mold, and the mixture is primarily injection-molded with the toe cap. A bottom lid of the mold is opened and a penetration-resistant insert is fitted in protrusions formed on the bottom of the mold. The safety boots are completed by a secondary injection-molding process.
