PURPOSE: An online/offline payment system using a near field communication portable terminal, and a method thereof are provided to allow the portable terminal to read a payment from an RFID tag, a bar code, or a QR code of a product or a menu, thereby receiving the product or a service from an offline shop during payment. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal(100) reads information and payment information. The portable terminal receives product payment completion information from a member store server(500). A communication company server(200) transmits product payment request information to a relay server(300). The communication server transmits the product payment completion information and product payment history information to the portable terminal. The relay server generates product payment order information.
